Typing practise

Today I typed 40 words. I have been improving from last week. My goal is to type 45 or 50 words by typing and practising.

Today I got 49/60. I have improved allot since last week. I got this score because I was focused and had a fresh start in the morning. The areas I need to work on are my Groupings within 100 and subtraction to 20.

Today I got 44/60. I got this score because I was not concentrating. My goal is to get 60/60 next week by learning my time tables at home for my home learning.

Today I typed 40 words. I got this score because I wasn´t focusing and because I kept on sneezing. My goal is to type 45 words or more at the end of the year by Practising every night and day.

A strange object??

We are learning to use our senses to describe an object without itś name.

A strange Object

This strange object looked like a mini orange and had a green stem on top.

It had a small cut and had black dots on the top. It felt squishy and soft, for

me it reminded me of a rotten apple. Itś skin feels soft and it is a little bouncy.

I took my first bite, It was very juicy and was squirting juice everywhere in my mouth.

My tastebuds felt bumpy as the strange object went squirting. My experience on the strange

Object tasted like spinach salad.

Today I typed 40 words. I got this score because I was focusing on the words I was typing and was concentrating on my accuracy. My goal is to type  50 words or 45 words.

Narrative writing

Once upon a time there was a man named Toa. Toa would always protect his house from any danger. When he died no one came into the house until this day His spirit still lives in there. One day my family moved in, It was in the middle of a farm with no neighbours. Soon it started to get dark. We all headed inside and went to sleep.When everyone was asleep I crept out of my bed to go for a drink of water. By the time I got down stairs I felt like someone was watching me every corridor I turned.

When I reached the tap I quickly looked for a cup and turned the tap, but when I turned it no water came out. I then gulped as I heard footsteps coming from the upstairs. I looked up the stairs to see who it was but there was no one.

When I turned around a large pale ghostly figure pushed me to the wall knocking me unconscious. I woke with pain as I stumbled to my feet. All that I could see was a blur as I walked through the hallway. Then my older brother came and asked what had happened. I tried talking but I swallowed in the words as I saw a knife go through him. I scrambled to my feet as blood burst everywhere. I ran through the living room trying to jump out the window but when I leaped I got pulled back. I tried calling for my brother but Toa was pushing all the air out of me, Then I took a huge deep breath and yelled ¨Matt Matt¨! I then heard the door burst open and I saw him grab something out of his jacket, It was Holy water and a Bible. I heard him saying a chant in Roman language  and sprinkled some holy water on Toa. I passed out as Matt chanted continuously. I woke up with a whisper in my head ¨John¨? ¨John¨. It was Matt. He helped me up and we both walked outside and went home.

Today I typed 40 words. I got this score because I was focused on what I was typing and because I practised. I am getting more accurate and fast. My goal is to type 45 or more words by practising at home.

Today I got 43/60. I have improved on my Groupings within 100, Subtraction to 20, and Addition. I will do something with my learning by practising my basic facts to 5, 10,  and 20.

Today I got 46/60. I got this result because I was focused in my learning and was focused on the questions. The areas I need to work on are my Groupings within 100, subtraction to 20, and addition.

Narrative writing

In the holidays I went to Mrs Middleton’s house because there was a pool party. Stella and I were getting ready because Mrs Middleton was coming to pick us up. When Mrs Middleton picked us up we went to pick up Macky and Mei. After a while we went to some shops to buy swimming noodles, ice cream, water guns and ice blocks. When we got there we saw Samuel, Annalisa and Josua there. As we helped put away the the food we ran through the house to the back yard. I felt a tingle as I felt the water, We had  listen to the rules before we could jump in.

After that we all jumped in and started shooting each other water guns and splashing each other. The pool was starting to get full, Then Beni and Justin Tyler came. We all yelled and cheered as he bombed inside the pool. Soon we had some snacks and juice. Beni and I kept on eating the Popcorn. Later on we were starting to get full and it wasn't  even lunch time. Hours later I got cold so I just stood in the sun. A while later it was lunch time, We all ran to the table as we splashed little water at each other. When we were full we waited for while because we were to tired to swim.

Soon we had ice creams and ice blocks, Then It was time to go home. When I got home I was so cold and I had goose bumps as I hopped into bed. I went to bed washing away the memories of the day.

Basic facts

Today I got 38/60. I am learning to practise my facts to 5, 10, 20, and 25. I have gotten better and I have learnt from my mistakes.

Today I got 18/60 on timed. I got this score because I got distracted from my learning and wasn't focused. The areas I need to work on are my Groupings within 100, Division, Subtraction and addition.

Typing practise

Today I typed 40 words. I got this score because I was focused. I have improved since last year. My goal is by the end of the year I must be able to type 50 words or more. I have gotten fast and accurate.

Today I got  46/60 on timed. I got this score because It was too fast and I was  getting disturbed. The areas I have to work on are my Groupings within 100, Subtraction to 20 and Division.
